Otodama and these terms

Otodama is provided by SCHMUT/WEISS GmbH, Sieveringer Straße 9/13, 1190 Vienna, Austria. These terms describe the website, gameplay and optional subscription. For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a separate custom EULA is provided in the App Store. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Otodama is available for iOS. An Android version is coming soon.

Playing together

Otodama is a word game for people playing together in the same place. Rush is free. Participants decide whether spoken answers fit the category. Paper mode supplies eight random categories; you choose the starting letter and provide paper, pens and your own scoring rules. Some categories are subjective, and the game does not certify the accuracy of an answer.

Spicy is optional adult content. Use it only with adults who are comfortable participating. Follow the age rating shown in your local App Store. You are responsible for using the app lawfully and respecting the other players.

Otodama Unlimited

Unlimited unlocks Duel, Paper and Spicy while the subscription is active. Monthly and annual plans are available. The price, currency, billing period and any applicable offer conditions are shown in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm. Apple charges the Apple Account used for the purchase.

Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Following cancellation, access normally continues until the paid period ends. Apple’s purchase terms and applicable law govern billing and refund requests.

Restoring purchases and connectivity

Use Restore purchases in the app with the same Apple Account to restore an eligible purchase. Purchasing, restoring and checking subscription information require internet access. Game rounds can be played offline. Availability of paid features depends on an active entitlement and the subscription information available to the app.

Withdrawal, refunds and consumer rights

Any statutory withdrawal, conformity, repair, replacement or refund rights remain unaffected. For digital content, any loss of a withdrawal right depends on the legal conditions being met, including the required express consent and acknowledgement. We do not treat simply visiting the website as a waiver of consumer rights. Purchase and refund requests can be made through Apple’s purchase-support channels.

Content and availability

The Otodama name, app content, illustrations and website are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Your right to use the app is governed by the applicable licence; these terms do not grant a right to redistribute our artwork or content. References to traditional category games explain the gameplay and do not imply endorsement by another game publisher.

We may provide updates to maintain or improve the app. Statutory obligations concerning digital products, paid access and updates remain unaffected. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to external services. Nothing here excludes liability or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For support, email office@schmutweiss.com. Mandatory protections under the laws applicable to you as a consumer remain available. These terms do not require you to waive a legally available consumer forum. See Apple’s Standard EULA for the app licence and the privacy policy for personal-data processing.
